In the world of entrepreneurship, success isn’t just about strategy—it’s about faith, resilience, and alignment with God’s plan. Few embody this journey as powerfully as Nestor D’Angelo Sanchez, a businessman whose path has been shaped by both challenges and divine purpose.
From selling chips in high school to navigating the unpredictable world of crypto, Nestor’s story is one of perseverance, learning, and deepening his relationship with Christ. Today, he not only runs a successful business but also helps beginners navigate the world of cryptocurrency through his course, The Beginner’s Guide to Crypto.
This is his story.
Called to More: Nestor’s Entrepreneurial Spark
While most high school students were focused on grades and college applications, Nestor was thinking bigger. He always felt called to something different—something that didn’t fit the traditional career path.
“I’ve always been a businessman. Ever since high school, I felt called to do something different than a career path. I had the gift of sales, and I used it—I sold chips, and I knew that business was in my DNA.”
After high school, he took the next expected step—community college. But deep down, he felt that there was a better way to learn and make money.
“I went to community college, but I knew there had to be something more. A better way to learn and make money. I was searching for that path.”
But one thing was missing—a deeper relationship with Jesus.
Faith, Struggles, and Growth
Like many who grow up in church, Nestor knew about God, but he hadn’t yet developed a personal, thriving relationship with Him. Looking back, he realizes that this is one reason why his early business journey came with so many struggles.
“I grew up in church, but as many people know, there’s a difference between going to church and developing a relationship with God. I had faith that I was destined for something more, but I hadn’t yet fully surrendered my business to Him.”
This lack of alignment led to seasons of doubt—times when he wondered if he was even cut out for entrepreneurship.
Business partnerships fell apart.
Opportunities didn’t pan out.
It felt like everything was crumbling.
“I had struggles with business partners, and it felt like everything was falling apart around me. But looking back, I realized it was God making room for what He truly had in store for me.”
Lessons, Not Losses
One thing that separates successful entrepreneurs from those who quit is perspective.
For Nestor, every setback was not a failure—it was a lesson.
“I’ve always had the mindset that Ls are just Lessons, not Losses. Every challenge I faced gave me feedback for the next step in my life.”
This mindset has shaped his ability to keep going, even when things don’t go as planned.
He learned from failed partnerships.
He adapted when things didn’t work out.
He used every experience to get better.
But one of the biggest shifts in his life wasn’t about business at all—it was about service.
Integrating Faith Into Business
For Nestor, entrepreneurship isn’t just about making money—it’s about aligning business with faith.
“I try to incorporate God into my job by getting into the Scriptures right after my morning accountability call. It starts my day and frames it to align with Him.”
This daily habit of seeking God first has helped him not only in personal growth but also in business decisions. When God is the foundation, everything else follows.
One of the biggest ways he has seen God move? Through the people He has placed in his life.
“One way I’ve seen God provide in my life is by giving me Godly business partners. I felt that the job I had before was a good one, but I asked God to bring me closer to Him. I think He wanted to surround me with people who were aligned with Him, mixing business and ministry!”
As Nestor has grown in his faith, he has also had the opportunity to onboard others into his agency, creating a business environment where faith and entrepreneurship go hand in hand.
“God gave me the opportunity to onboard people into my agency and build that same godly environment and relationships.”
This is Kingdom entrepreneurship—building something on Earth that also has an eternal impact.
Advice for Christian Entrepreneurs
For those just starting their journey in faith and business, Nestor offers this advice:
“One piece of advice I’d give to a new entrepreneur in Christ is to put God first and the rest will come! It’s amazing to work with the Holy Spirit, so let Him guide you through things and allow the Holy Spirit to convict you and correct you! It starts with your Bible and understanding what He wants for you.”
This is the core of Christian entrepreneurship—building a business that honors God, serves people, and remains fully surrendered to His plan.
